Feature Writing

Having written feature articles for many years I've been lucky enough to profile business leaders, high-profile politicians, sportsmen and women, fashionistas, rockstars, lifesavers, creatives, multi-zillionaires and entrepreneurs. Some highlights and some characters have included Sir David Attenborough, Celebrity Chef Maggie Beer, Jeff Kennet (former Premier), Penny Wong (when Cabinet Minister), Mark Vaile (when Deputy Prime Minister), entrepreneur Ruslan Kogan, Shark Tank host Naomi Simson and more. My most memorable interview location being – the top of Sydney Harbour Bridge (just don’t look down)!

I have also made my constant thirst for travel a loveable part of my business. My travel features have been published globally and have covered fascinating countries such as Vietnam, Hong Kong, Dubai, Italy and Fiji as well as our glorious domestic shores: from the white sands of the The Whitsunday Islands, the corals of The Great Barrier Reef, the peaks of the Blue Mountains, and the red deserts of Uluru. As a regular feature writer my work has been published in numerous publications including The Guardian, The Huffington Post, Yahoo News, Mamamia, Virgin Inflight’s Voyeur magazine, Capture magazine, Forge magazine, In the Black and Company Director (amongst others).

As well as travel and people profiles, I try to tackle many topical and innovative subjects in my work and I'm always on the lookout for great ideas (feel free to send me any)! Recent articles have been as diverse as ever including: the most luxurious boutique hotels on the planet, the highs and lows of lockdown life, an emotive photo story of same sex weddings across Australia, the perils of skin cancer in young people, surviving Christmas as an Ex-Pat, Mini Moguls (those teenage braniac multi-millionaires), exploring the little known Fly In Fly Out lifestyle and an insight into the life of a Chinese Billionaire.

After three years of procrastinating, my New Year's resolution is to publish at least one of my book drafts this year too – children's or grown ups! Please hold me to this!
